How do you get started?
Do the exercises as described. Start with the first rite and end with the fifth rite. Perform the rites in the morning or evening. Don’t do the exercises right after having a meal. Wear loose and comfortable clothing. Stay focused during each exercise and block out all thoughts.
Start with few repetitions and add one more repetition each week. Build up to 21 repetitions. 21 repetitions is the ideal. Add on number of repetitions so that you are always doing an odd number of repetitions (numerological purpose).
On days when you are pressed for time, do all the exercises, but reduce number of repetitions. Focus on breathing right. This is important for any type of energy work. Stay focused and do the exercises in a smooth motion.
After doing the rites you may lay down on the floor for couple of minutes. Relax the whole body, one body part at a time. Meditation is important after yoga practice.
Set a goal and have a ‘start by’ date. Start slowly and work your way up. Do the rites for 21 consecutive days so that it becomes a habit.
If you have any concerns about injury or illness, consult your physician before beginning this exercise program.
